A limited production, by nature
The rarity of this chinchorro does not come from a commercial strategy, but from its manufacturing method. The fiber can only be harvested at certain times, spinning is long, and weaving (by hand) requires great technical skill.
Each chinchorro is therefore produced in very limited quantities, often made to order or in small series. The natural variations of the fiber and the craft make each piece slightly different.
This moriche chinchorro is a piece of sustainable, authentic, and non-standardized craftsmanship, coming directly from the Orinoco Delta in Venezuela.
