The transportation of your package

We work from our own stock, so your order is shipped the same day for credit card orders placed before 12 PM (otherwise the next day, excluding Saturday and Sunday). The delivery time is 24 to 48 hours to your address or to a pickup point. It takes 48 hours for the 20 departments farthest from us (we are located in Landes, department 40). For orders paid by check, we wait to receive your mail before shipping.

The carrier is DPD for all parcels up to 30 kg, and the delivery time is 24 to 48 hours. You have the option of delivery to a pickup point for all parcels under 10 kg (a list of pickup points is visible in your order) or home delivery.

Packages over 30 kg are shipped only to home addresses by Geodis/Calberson via parcel delivery service, with a delivery time ranging from 2 to 5 days. Geodis will contact you to specify the delivery day.

The delivery is made against signature, and you will receive the delivery status by email. Full tracking is available thanks to the parcel number.

Our procedure is standard: as soon as your package is shipped, we generate two emails, one of which provides you with the tracking number for your package as well as the delivery details. Then, DPD also sends a confirmation email when the package is deposited at the pickup point. Please note, we cannot be held responsible for emails you do not receive. There can be multiple reasons, the most common being that your antivirus software treats these emails as advertisements and stores them in your spam folder. If you are concerned about the delivery, please contact us either by email or by phone at 0559931052, and we will track it for you.

Deliveries to remote locations.

Some addresses are remote, little known, or quite difficult to access. The most efficient carrier in these cases is La Poste since they visit you every day and the mail carrier often knows you well (long live public service!). In such cases, do not hesitate to contact us (05 59 93 10 52) to explain your needs. We will ship your package via La Poste (with no extra charge) even if we have to go queue at our local post office. We prefer to do everything possible to ensure the delivery is successful.

Returns and refunds

At Tropical Hammock, Your satisfaction is our priority. If you wish to return a product, here is the procedure to follow:

1. Check the return eligibility

You have a deadline of 14 days after receiving your order to return an item to us. The products must be new, unused and in their original packaging.

2. Identify the reason for the return

The return process varies depending on the reason:

  • Error on our part : defective product, wrong size or model sent, product different from the one ordered.
  • Change of mind or order error : wrong size, color, or model chosen, etc.

3. Return Procedure

A. If the error is on our part:

  1. Contact us : Send an email to contact@tropical-hamac.com or use our contact form, specifying your order number and the reason for the return.
  2. Receipt of the return label We will provide you with the option to directly print the prepaid return label via DPD and to choose the nearest DPD pickup point to your home on the DPD website.
  3. Package preparation : Carefully pack the product, remove the old labels, and affix the new label.
  4. Package drop-off : Drop off the package at one of the 10,000 DPD Pickup partner locations.

B. If the return is initiated by you:

  1. Contact us Please inform us of your intention to return by specifying your order number.

  2. Shipment of the package Return shipping costs are your responsibility. Please send the product back via La Poste (Colissimo or Chronopost) to the following address:

  3. Shipment tracking We recommend using a tracked service and keeping the proof of shipment.

4. Reimbursement

After receipt and inspection of the returned product, we will proceed with the refund within 14 days, in accordance with the Consumer law. In practice, we generally carry out the reimbursement under 48 hours after receipt of the return.
