Our Mexican hammocks are hand washed. Immerse only the netted part in a bucket of soapy water, making sure to leave the ropes (the "arms" of the hammock) outside to prevent them from tangling.
After washing, rinse with clear water and then let your hammock dry in the open air, preferably outside, in the shade to preserve the fibers and colors.
