To safely install a hammock or a hammock chair, it is essential to choose suitable fixtures: suspension kit, ropes, hooks depending on your support (trees, walls, beams, or metal supports). Some accessories, such as cushions or mosquito nets, then enhance comfort and usability.
Hammock fittings are designed for horizontal suspension between two points. The load/resistance is divided by two. Hammock chair fittings are intended for vertical suspension on a single attachment point (ceiling, beam, frame) that supports the entire load. Therefore, they are not interchangeable.
