Our latest innovation is the addition of a 125cm long wooden bar that provides you with extra space at the elbows by eliminating any feeling of confinement. Care for the hanging chair:
The seat is machine washable at 40°C. When used outdoors, pollen, organic debris, dust mites, and fungi eventually settle into the fabric. It is essential, if you want your chair to age well, to wash it at least once a year at the end of the season. Say goodbye to all problems! Similarly, if you cannot use it indoors all year round, store it in a dry place. Avoid garden sheds and other damp places frequented by mice!
Care for the support frame:
This item is not made of stainless steel, so it is not guaranteed against rust. If you use this support outdoors, we have observed (in our oceanic Landes climate, 5 km from the beach) that the first signs of oxidation appear after 2 to 3 years. There is a miraculous paint available in hardware stores. The "Hammerite" paint is applied in a single coat directly on the metal after very light sanding and will protect your support for another 3 to 4 years. It is available in the original hammered gray color as well as many other shades.
We recommend a maximum weight of 100 kg for this support because its flexibility imposes certain limits; even if the support will not break beyond 100 kg, it becomes a bit too unstable. For people over 100 kg, we strongly recommend our "Soledad hammock chair support" model. That is also fair trade: being honest and advising you well.
