Why use an Underquilt with a hammock?

Sleeping in a hammock provides exceptional comfort, but as soon as temperatures drop, the air circulating under the fabric can cause a significant feeling of cold. Even with a good sleeping bag, the insulation under the body is compressed and loses much of its effectiveness.

The Underquilt was specially developed to solve this problem. Suspended under the hammock, it creates an insulating layer that maintains its loft and effectively protects against heat loss.
