The Rolls-Royce of hammocks? The debate is open... This net hammock is entirely handmade in Mexico and each model is unique. For connoisseurs, it is the 6M or "family" size. Its four-thread mesh, invented by the Mayas centuries ago, is still handmade today. We have learned to weave these hammocks and can repair them if you have broken some threads. Feel free to contact us about this.

We offer this model in two different thread qualities. Cotton bedding for superior comfort, some elasticity, and softness against the skin. Polypropylene bedding for those who wish to leave their hammock permanently outdoors in a shaded and humid environment. Bedding is a bit less comfortable because the thread is stiffer.

Yes, our double hammock can accommodate two adults. This traditional Mexican XL hammock is ideal for couples or for relaxing together.

Our Mexican hammocks should only be hand washed. Soak the net in a bucket of soapy water, keeping the ropes outside to prevent them from tangling. Then rinse with clear water and let dry in the open air, preferably outside and in the shade.

Our Mexican hammocks are made of cotton. We recommend not leaving them outside all year round, as cotton is a natural fiber that may deteriorate over time if it is not protected from prolonged exposure to the sun and weather. If you are looking for a durable model for outdoor use, the nylon Mexican hammock is a good solution.

For safety, we indicate that an XL hammock supports up to 250 kg. In reality, its strength allows for much more: you can easily settle in it with several people. Just be sure to check your setup every year. The traditional Mexican hammock is solid!
