You can leave your hammock outside without any problem: it resists very well to sun and rain. But if the rain lasts for several days in a row, common sense dictates bringing your hammock in quickly to preserve it longer. Its generous width of 160 cm makes it a true cocoon, perfect for sharing a relaxing moment for two or for safely accommodating a baby. Wooden hammock stand maintenance

If you like taking care of your furniture, just:

1. Slightly unscrew the nuts before winter,

2. Avoid prolonged contact with damp soil,

3. Apply a wood stain or saturator in the first year,

4. Renew the protective layer every 3 years.

Result: an average lifespan between 15 and 20 years. For those who prefer minimal maintenance, leave your stand outside all year round. The wood will develop a beautiful gray patina and maintain its strength for 7 to 10 years. One simple rule: unscrew the nuts and lift the uprights at the start of winter.
