A collection inspired by the landscapes of Canaima

Canaima National Park is one of the most iconic landscapes of Venezuela. Its vast natural expanses, rivers, and spectacular reliefs inspired the name of these handcrafted placemats.

Their striped and colorful composition brings a lively note to the decoration without losing the natural character of the textile. They highlight a wooden table, simple tableware, or accessories made from natural materials.

The traditional fabrics of our Venezuelan hammocks

The Canaima placemats are made in the same workshop and with the same traditional fabric as some of our high-end hammocks from Venezuela.

However, this model does not reproduce any particular hammock reference. It has its own color harmony, its own stripe arrangement, and an independent identity within the Maison & Déco collection of Tropical Hamac.

A piece shaped by the artisan's hand

No two pieces are exactly alike. The position of the stripes, the intensity of a color, or certain weaving details may vary slightly.

These differences are not defects. They are the signature of handmade work and make each set unique, far from standardized textiles produced by industrial manufacturing.
