Handwoven in Venezuela, the Paria table runner is made in the same workshop and with the same fabric as our Venezuelan hammocks. Its colors, stripes, and hand-crafted fringes give each piece a unique identity.

The Paria table runner is named after the Paria Peninsula, a lush region in the northeast of Venezuela, open to the Caribbean Sea. This inspiration gives rise to a lively textile creation, designed to bring color, warmth, and authenticity to the home.
Placed in the center of a table, on a sideboard, or on a console, it allows for a simple transformation of the decor. Its artisanal character naturally fits into bohemian, exotic, natural, or ethnic atmospheres.
The Paria model is made in the same workshop and from the same traditional fabric as our high-end hammocks from Venezuela.
The stripes, color harmonies, and cotton texture thus extend the world of our hammocks into table decoration. For this model, we chose to preserve its own identity without associating it with any particular hammock reference.
The handcrafted work makes each table runner slightly different. A shade may be stronger, a stripe may shift slightly in position, and the weaving may show small irregularities.
These particularities are inherent to artisanal production. They constitute the artisan’s signature and guarantee that each piece has its own unique character.
For over 35 years, Tropical Hamac has worked with Latin American workshops and supports lasting relationships with artisans. This collection highlights their expertise beyond hammocks and introduces their traditional fabrics in a new form.
The Paria table runner is therefore much more than a decorative accessory: it is a textile creation carrying an origin, a gesture, and a story.
