The Orénoque placemats are handcrafted in Venezuela using the traditional fabrics of our hammocks. Their natural shades and authentic weaving bring softness, light, and character to the table.

The Orinoco model is named after one of the largest rivers in South America. Its natural shades and authentic weaving evoke the landscapes crossed by this iconic Venezuelan river.
Simple and warm, it highlights a wooden table, artisanal dishware, or a decoration made of natural fibers. It can be used daily as well as for more refined meals.
These placemats are made in the same workshop and with the same traditional fabric as some of our Venezuelan hammocks. Their natural palette shares several shades with our Hamac Luxe Venezuela XXL H30D.
This closeness does not mean the patterns are identical. The Orinoco set has its own composition and arrangement of stripes.
Each piece may show slight differences in weaving, shades, or finishes. These particularities are the signature of handmade work and make each piece unique.
For over 35 years, Tropical Hamac has favored lasting collaborations with its partner workshops in Latin America. Choosing the Orinoco sets helps support traditional craftsmanship, far from standardized textile productions.
