The 1st handmade cat hammock

This set really changes the game in terms of cat hammocks. Until now, most models found were cheap, often industrial, and not always very aesthetic. At Tropical Hamac, we wanted to offer something different: a quality, handmade hammock with a true artisanal soul. Connoisseurs will likely have noticed that this is a miniature version of our bestseller, the Nicaragua XL size hammock in Ecru.

It’s quite an achievement for our artisans in Nicaragua, with whom we have worked for so many years, to have successfully adapted their iconic model into a cat-sized version. This hammock is made in exactly the same workshop as our wood-bar hammocks. A wonderful way to prove, if proof were still needed, all the know-how and passion of these artisans who preserve traditional techniques while remaining open to innovation and sometimes our rather crazy ideas.

A unique set with its solid wood stand

Each cat hammock comes with a raw wood stand from Costa Rica, which makes the whole set very high quality. You are free to use the hammock with or without its stand:

1. Without the stand, it easily hangs using small ropes because it is a real little hammock.
2. It can even serve as a miniature bed for children’s dolls or figurines.
