One of the most classic shapes for this stable and sturdy stand, whose height/length ratio is essential for greater comfort. A selection criterion, because a hammock must have an ideal curve for a flexible lying position. A double bolting is present at each joint as well as a double thickness of metal for a firm tightening. This locks the tubes together and prevents squeaking, unlike a single bolting.
Tip: If you already own your hammock, measure it stretched from one end to the other to check compatibility.

We designed this anthracite gray steel stand according to our own measurements for genuine Latin hammocks without wooden spreader bars at the ends. It is sturdy, stable (curved feet), and its height is 142cm with a length of 335cm. Be careful, stands that are too low are generally designed for hammocks with spreader bars.
This stand is easy to assemble and disassemble and fits all hammocks measuring up to 375cm from loop to loop when fully stretched (for a used hammock. If it is new, maximum 350cm). Please note that hammocks stretch by 5 to 10% depending on quality. Our Caribe XL hammocks made of recycled cotton, for example, measure 352cm new and stretch slightly after 1 month of use to reach 370cm once stretched. If your hammock is shorter, please provide us with your measurements and we will include an adjustment kit free of charge in your package.
For maintenance, we recommend Hammerite paint, available in the same color (hammered anthracite gray) at major DIY stores for its exceptional rust protection properties. Initially, some touch-ups will be needed where parts rub against each other and the paint wears off. After 3 to 4 years, the entire stand can be repainted. On the following link, discover in detail all our maintenance tips.
It should be noted that this hammock stand withstood our tests with a load of 478 kg without moving! See the attached photo. We are the only ones to offer double bolting on each tube. This ensures a firm hold between the tubes and prevents the unpleasant "clack clack clack" noises when swinging in the hammock.
We have further improved our stand by reinforcing the tightening screw plate with a double thickness of metal (see photo).
Our simple fringe-free hammocks compatible with this stand: XL Fabric Hammock.
