Maintenance of your hammock stand:

The current trend is to let the wood weather and turn gray with UV exposure. If you like this look, then do not apply any product and leave it outside without doing anything. It will last for many years.

If you want to preserve the original color of the wood, apply a neutral or colored saturator from the first year. Ask for advice at your hardware store.

This stand is made of Class 4 autoclave-treated Spruce. It is therefore a softwood, and the product you choose must be suitable.

Finally, we have noticed that the wood needs ambient humidity. So avoid storing your stand in a dry place. The wood can crack and age poorly. Winter storage should be under shelter or outside by slightly loosening the bolts to allow the wood to move or in case of frost.

Hammock maintenance:

Wash at least once a year in the machine at 30 or 40°. We cannot say it enough. The hammock is a textile, it is not furniture!!
