A few actions to preserve the metal stand
The Inka XL stand is made of non-stainless steel. To preserve its finish, regularly check the joints of the tubes, the screws, and the welds, where friction can weaken the protective paint.
If a trace of rust appears, prepare the area and then touch it up with paint suitable for exterior metal, following the manufacturer's instructions. When the finish becomes worn or dull, repainting helps to restore its protection.
The frequency of this maintenance depends on exposure to rain, humidity, and sunlight.
Caring for your hammock to extend its comfort
Regular care helps keep the fabric clean and soft to the touch. Wash your hammock at 40 °C, then let it air dry completely before storing it. For washing at a higher temperature, follow the instructions on the care label.
During prolonged periods of rain and in the winter, store the hammock indoors in a dry place. Also, make sure the suspension ropes remain untangled to distribute tension properly.
