Support Maintenance:
This item is not made of stainless steel, so it is not guaranteed against rust. If you use this support outdoors, we have observed (in our oceanic Landes climate, 5 km from the beach) that the first signs of oxidation appear after 2 to 3 years. There is a miraculous paint that you can find in DIY stores. The "Hammerite" paint is applied in a single coat directly on the metal after a very light sanding and will protect your support for another 3 to 4 years. It is available in the original hammered gray color as well as many other shades.
Hanging Chair Maintenance:
The seat cover is machine washable at 40°C. When used outdoors, pollen, organic debris, mites, and fungi eventually settle in the fabric. It is essential, if you want your CARIBENA Limao hammock chair to age well, to wash it at least once a year at the end of the season. That will eliminate all problems! Likewise, if you cannot enjoy it indoors all year round, store it in a dry place. Avoid garden sheds and other damp places frequented by mice!
