An ancestral know-how for this Colombian hammock chair with meticulous finishes. We have been present in Colombia since 1993! Beware of imitations. Colombian hammock is unfortunately not a protected designation of origin. Colombian origin is a guarantee of expertise. A fabric that does not deform, seams that do not give way, balance in the arms of the hammock, a hammock that will stand the test of time even after many machine washes. Observed durability.

We have been in stores since 1993 which allows us to know well the longevity of all our products. We distinguish 2 different uses.

Intense use: for someone who leaves their hammock outdoors day and night for 5 to 6 months of the year. Without maintenance or washing.

Careful use: for someone who leaves their hammock outdoors but brings it inside when rainy weather is forecast for several days. A passing rain shower is welcome. The hammock is machine washed at 40°C at least once a year at the end of the season then stored indoors during winter. The arms are regularly checked.

A sturdy and ecological hammock fabric.

Ultra sturdy and non-deformable, this fabric (360g per m²) is consistent. The thread used is recycled cotton. 70% cotton from the textile industry (clean scraps with fixed dyes) and 30% polyester. The polyester filament is there to strengthen the recycled thread. This thread is truly ecological as it earned us the "Sustainable Development Trophy" from our chamber of commerce.

A maximum amount of cotton will be pleasant for skin contact. Fabrics with 50% or more polyester as well as all 100% synthetic fabrics should be avoided. Many imitations have fabrics that end up sagging and deforming.

A 160cm deep fabric.

This size offers the possibility to sit comfortably cross-legged in the hollow of the fabric.

Easy maintenance.

We invite you to remove the seat of this chair from the wooden bar and wash it in the machine at 40°, or even at 60° occasionally. The hammock is a textile product!! Consider it like household linen, wash it from time to time!
