This hammock chair, straight from the Yucatán, is handwoven in 100% cotton. Its fine and stretchy 4-thread mesh, inspired by Mayan techniques, offers exceptional comfort: soft on the skin, it leaves almost no marks, unlike some nets.
In this generously sized hanging chair, you can settle into several positions, whether to read, relax, or take a nap. A true suspended cocoon! Support not included.
The sturdiness of this hammock chair is impressive. Children can swing, play, climb, and even try tricks on it... it holds up well. One precaution: avoid jewelry (rings, watches, necklaces) that could snag the threads.
We recommend using it indoors or in a sheltered place, because like any cotton product, it takes a little time to dry after rain.
We prefer to tell you everything; that’s also the spirit of fair trade.
To safely hang your hammock chair, discover our suitable fixing kits. And for even more comfort, consider adding our spring, you’ll see, it’s a real plus for a flexible and relaxing seat.
If you can’t fix your hammock chair to the ceiling or a beam, no problem: we offer hammock chair stands, in wood or metal, sturdy and aesthetic, so you can enjoy it anywhere, even indoors.
Like any textile, this hanging chair deserves a little attention to last over time. It is important not to machine wash the net. To clean it, simply remove the fabric from the wooden bar, tie the handles together to prevent them from tangling, then hand wash it in a bucket of lukewarm water with a mild soap. A good rinse, drying in the shade, and your hammock chair will be as good as new!
