To preserve its original color and prevent it from turning gray, applying a "saturator" is recommended. This support, made to our own measurements, offers a perfect length/height ratio for optimal comfort (lying diagonally in the hammock with a soft, not taut, bedding).

An Eco-Friendly Hammock Made from Recycled Cotton
The Authentic Colombian Hammock
The Caribe hammock that accompanies this stand is made in Colombia, respecting artisanal traditions. It is made from recycled cotton (75%) and polyester (25%), sourced from textile scraps sorted by color, an eco-responsible process that earned us the sustainable development award from our chamber of commerce. This ecological process recycles clean textile scraps (the clothing industry produces about 40% unused scraps) in their own color (scraps are separated by color before recycling).
The colors of this thread are strong, and it can be machine washed at 40°C. This process does not interest big brands because, being recycled in its own color, it is not possible to achieve consistent colors. Also, some colors are not available as we depend on current fashion-related colors.
