How to properly maintain this set

Care for the hanging chair

The seat is machine washable at 40°C. Outdoors, pollen, organic debris, dust mites, and fungi can embed in the fabric. To ensure a long lifespan for your hammock chair, we recommend washing it at least once a year, at the end of the season. And if you don’t use it indoors all year round, remember to store it in a dry place – avoid damp garden sheds where mice might settle!

Care for the metal stand

Although sturdy, our Soledad metal stand is not stainless steel and is therefore not guaranteed against rust. Outdoors, we have observed that in an oceanic climate like that of the Landes region, the first signs of oxidation can appear after 2 to 3 years. Fortunately, a simple coat of Hammerite paint, available at hardware stores, can protect it durably.

Unlike our Lunatta stand, with a rounder design but slightly less resistant, the Soledad stand is incredibly robust. We have never managed to bend it, even during testing!
