Easy to Maintain
- The hammock
Wash it in the machine once a year, preferably at the end of the season. Tie the arms together to prevent them from tangling. Air dry it, without using a dryer, then store it in a dry place to avoid mold and rodents.
- The Inka Relax stand
Robust and tested up to 478 kg, it can support heavy loads. Not stainless, it may develop some rust spots over time. Simply touch up the exposed areas with a suitable metal paint such as Hammerite “Slate Grey Hammered” paint. After several years, a full coat protects and revives the metal’s shine.
For Taller People
For a person taller than 1.70 m, we recommend the XL hammock with XL metal stand version to ensure better comfort when lying diagonally (the best position for sleeping) How to lie properly in a hammock?
Expert Advice
A little regular maintenance is enough to extend the life of your hammock: occasional touch-ups on the first rust spots and annual washing. Hammerite is applied directly to the metal and requires only one coat. Tip: keep the can upside down so the paint stays fluid even after several years!
