An ultra-strong hammock stand made of 60mm tubes.
Specially designed for XL hammocks or XXL, this hammock stand is made of anthracite gray steel. Manufactured according to our own Height/length requirements, it provides the ideal curve for your hammock. Maintenance can be done with "Hammerite" anti-rust paint if necessary. A hammock that our customers often replace after 10 years!
The pattern is created in the Landes, by us! It is the work of a local artist with whom we have worked for over 20 years: Alesko. The Albizia model comes from our latest collection whose theme was Andalusia. Discover all our models on Andalusia.
The hammock is Colombian-designed and made of recycled cotton. Its lying surface is 160 cm wide. Ideal for a tall person or for two. Maintenance is done by machine washing at 40° (remember to tie the arms to prevent them from tangling).
Strength of the cords of our hammocks:
We indicate for our Colombian hammocks a strength of 16 kg per cord. Strength in numbers, and when there are 46 cords, the hammock can obviously withstand a considerable weight. But what happens when you sit just on the edge of the hammock before standing up and all your weight is supported by only a few cords?
It should be known that in terms of hammocks, the breaking point must be divided by two to define the maximum allowed weight. That's the rule. This means that each cord of this hammock has a breaking point at 32 kg. So there is no problem sitting on the edge of the hammock!
Our accessories
Don't hesitate to enhance your hammock with our half-moon cushion. We created it especially for sleeping or reading comfortably in a hammock. It slightly raises the head and offers good support at the neck. When you sleep or move, your head stays well supported — unlike square or rectangular cushions that tend to slip with you.
