Here is a great example with this set: The stand is made of 60mm diameter tubes, and we are the only ones to use this size. Its dimensions (especially the hanging height) provide optimal comfort in the hammock. Yes, a hammock must be well curved to be comfortable diagonally. As for the hammock itself, the quality of the thread is the secret to its longevity and its resistance to machine washing. This Aguilas XXL hammock (made in Colombia but of our own design) can be machine washed up to 60° without affecting its colors! Our AZTEKA stand is the most robust of all our metal stands. Suitable for our XL hammocks and our range of XXL hammocks, it is made according to our own height and length measurements. Our goal: to achieve the ideal curve to guarantee you the best comfort. Too tight, you feel stuck; too loose, your buttocks may touch the ground...
Maintaining my metal stand
We recommend a touch-up in case of chips, scratches, or impacts that could damage the existing layer. This will prevent rust from appearing after exposure to rain. Every 5 years, you can repaint your stand entirely to give it a new lease on life.

This authentic Colombian recycled cotton hammock offers a sleeping width of 180 cm, making it a family hammock where you can sleep alone or with several people. Ideal therefore for a tall person, a couple, or a family. Maintenance is done in the machine at 40 °C (remember to tie the arms to prevent them from tangling).
Strength of the ropes of our hammocks
For our Colombian hammocks, each rope can support up to 16 kg. Since there are 46 ropes, that makes for a really solid total capacity! But sometimes, when you sit just at the edge of the hammock, all the weight rests on only a few ropes. Generally, to be safe, we consider half of the maximum resistance to define the allowed weight. So here, each rope can actually hold up to 32 kg. No worries: you can sit on the edge of the hammock without risk!
