Our Maya Relax Hammock Stand.
This high-quality hammock stand is custom-designed to our specifications. It is made from the finest materials, including laminated and rot-resistant spruce wood. High-quality stainless steel screws ensure exceptional durability.
Features:
- Suitable for all hammocks with a length between handles up to 3.80m maximum.
- Hammock fixings are included.
- The XL-XXL size is perfect for Mexican hammocks as well as XL and XXL durable fabric hammocks. Ready-made sets are available in the hammocks with stands section.
- This stand also accommodates our L and XL bar hammocks.
- Should not be stored dry during winter. The wood needs external humidity.
Care for the Maya Relax Stand.
There are two options:
1 You are rather careful and have time to maintain this stand. You will follow all our advice: unscrew each nut a good turn during winter (because the wood swells slightly with cold and humidity), do not leave it standing in the soil all winter, apply a wood stain or saturator from the first year, apply a maintenance coat of the product you chose every 3 years, raise the "uprights" during winter. By following these instructions and based on our own customer feedback, this stand will last you between 15 and 20 years.
2 You don't have time, with kids, work, friends, hobbies, the house, etc... In this case, you can leave it outside all year round without doing anything (or almost). If you do not apply any stain or saturator, your stand will turn completely gray by the second year and last between 7 and 10 years. However, spend 20 minutes on your stand at the start of winter to unscrew each nut and raise the "uprights".
