Hammock for Balcony and Small Spaces

Three meters of railing, no trees, a concrete slab. The constraint does not prevent installing a hammock: it directs towards vertical formats, which take up 1 m² of floor space instead of 4.

Measure Before Ordering

Note two measurements. The available width, which determines whether to choose a model suspended from a single point or a classic hammock stretched diagonally. Then the ceiling or awning height: you need 2 m for a suspended seat to swing without touching the ground.

Formats That Fit on a Balcony

The XL fabric hammock chair hangs from a single point and folds up at the end of the day. Its XXL version adds more seating for cross-legged reading. The net hammock chair, woven in Mexico, allows air to pass through: appreciated on a south-facing balcony. The hanging armchair covers terraces that have space for a real seat.

If the balcony ceiling is solid concrete, a hammock chair mounting kit is sufficient. On a hollow partition or drywall, first read our method for hanging a hammock without damaging the wall.

Our Hammocks by Use
