Garden and Outdoor Hammock
A garden hammock is chosen based on two criteria that no one looks at in photos: the total length including the rope, and what happens to the fabric after three summers outside. Our recycled cotton models measure 330 cm including the rope and come with a 3-year warranty.
Between two trees or on a stand
Two trunks 4 meters apart remain the best suspension: the curve is natural, nothing moves. Without a well-placed tree, a wooden or metal hammock stand can be placed on a lawn, a terrace, or gravel, and moved throughout the day with the sun. Our matching hammock and stand sets avoid the common mistake of a stand that is too short for the purchased fabric.
The right size depending on who will use it
The size L garden hammock is suitable for one person, with 140 cm width and a load capacity of 180 kg. The XL size offers room to read with two people or take a nap with a child. The XXL and XXXL sizes are designed for families and large terraces, provided there is 4.50 m between the attachment points.
Woven fabric or net
The cotton fabric keeps you warm in the morning, protects from the wind, and can stay in place all summer. The Nicaraguan bar hammock net does the opposite: it breathes, dries instantly, and keeps the back flat thanks to its spreader bars, which is appreciated in hot southern gardens. A hammock that stays outside all summer
Our fabrics are woven in Colombia from ecological recycled Ecotec cotton, machine washable at 40°. The lifespan observed through our after-sales service ranges from 5 years with intensive use to 15 years for a hammock brought in during stormy nights. The rope can be repaired, the fabric can be sewn: our workshop in Tarnos handles repairs, including on hammocks purchased fifteen years ago. An organic cotton hammock completes the range for those who go all the way.

Allow 4 m between the two anchor points for an L hammock of 330 cm including the rope, and 4.50 m for an XXL. A shorter gap can be compensated with straps or chains; a larger gap stretches the fabric too much and removes the curve.
Yes, from spring to autumn, bringing it inside during storms and long rains. Cotton absorbs water and takes time to dry, which eventually stains the fabric. A hammock taken down after each shower lasts three times longer.
Attach the anchor points about 140 cm from the ground for a 330 cm hammock. Once occupied, the lowest point drops to 40 or 50 cm, the ideal height for sitting down and then rocking. Higher up, getting out becomes acrobatic.
Machine wash the fabric at 40°, with the strings tied and placed in a laundry net, without fabric softener. Dry flat or hang in the shade. Our Ecotec recycled cotton hammocks can withstand washing at 60° in case of stubborn stains.
