Quality of our fabrics

Our hammocks are made from a high-quality ecological cotton thread. This thread, which we have been using for over 10 years, guarantees excellent durability of the hammock fabric over time, without deformation or fading. Machine washable at 40°C, and up to 60°C if necessary, our hammocks are as practical as they are attractive.

The Latino Relax XL stand: a wooden support designed to last

The Latino Relax XL stand, made from rot-resistant larch wood, is perfectly suited for large-sized hammocks. Thanks to its ideal proportions between height and length, it ensures a natural curve of the hammock for a flexible and ergonomic lying experience.

Wooden stand maintenance

The stand comes with an initial protective varnish layer, which provides good protection for about 3 to 4 years. After this period, a simple light sanding followed by a coat of stain or saturator will restore its full protection.

That said, we strongly recommend, as soon as you receive it, to do a light sanding and apply one or two coats of saturator. Easy to use, this product effectively protects the wood against UV rays, rain, and climate variations. We might be a bit picky — or let’s say very concerned — about the durability of our stands… But that’s because, with over 30 years of experience offering this type of product, we know what really works over time.

And for winter?

In winter, it is essential not to store the stand in a place that is too dry. Ideally, place it sheltered from the weather, without direct contact with the ground (bricks under the feet will do). If you leave it outside without dismantling it, remember to slightly loosen the nuts, as wood naturally swells with humidity.
