An ultra-strong hammock stand made of 60mm tubes.
Specially designed for XL or XXL hammocks, the AZTEKA stand is made of steel. Manufactured according to our own Height/length requirements, it provides the ideal curve for your hammock. A hammock that our customers often replace after 10 years!
The typical pattern of Colombian hammocks adds an ethnic touch full of character, pleasantly different from traditional horizontal lines. It is a model we have been offering for more than 10 years, and it enjoys enduring success every year.
The hammock is Colombian-designed and made from recycled cotton. Its sleeping area is 160 cm wide. Ideal for one tall person or two. Maintenance involves machine washing at 40°C (remember to tie the arms to prevent tangling).
Strength of the cords in our hammocks:
Our Colombian XL hammocks have a strength of 16 kg per cord. Strength in numbers means that with 46 cords, the hammock can withstand a considerable weight. But what happens when you sit just at the edge of the hammock before standing up and all your weight is supported by only a few cords? It should be noted that for hammocks, the breaking point must be divided by two to define the maximum allowed weight. This is the rule. This means that each cord of this hammock has a breaking point of 32 kg. So, there is no problem sitting at the edge of the hammock!
Tropical Hamac’s advice
Remember to add the hammock cushion: an accessory we have custom-designed according to our own standards, specially adapted to the shape and comfort of the hammock. A little extra that makes all the difference… and you won’t regret it. Trust us!
