XL Travel Hammock: the thing you don’t think about… until you’ve tried it

When hiking, we always think about the evening. Where to sleep, how to settle in, will it rain… But in reality, what tires us the most are the moments in between: poorly done breaks. We sit on a rock, on damp ground, we stay tense… and we leave without really recovering. A hammock like this changes that. Not necessarily to sleep right away, but just to stop properly. Two trees, a few minutes, and you’re set up. Legs relaxed, back supported, body truly unwinding.

The width of the hammock plays a big role in this: With 2 meters, you don’t need to search for your position. You get in, move around a bit, and it happens naturally. You can even lie slightly diagonally without thinking about it. And that’s often what’s missing in narrower hammocks.

A hammock for proper rest

Another detail you quickly discover: you’re no longer dependent on the terrain. Wet ground, roots, slope… it doesn’t really matter anymore. As long as there are two trees, there’s a solution. With its 3 meters length, you also have more freedom. You can lie down, sit up, or even share it with someone for a quick break.
Not necessarily to sleep, but just to share a moment without feeling cramped.

The 70D nylon fabric does the rest. It’s flexible, pleasant, but above all reliable. You feel it holds, even with weight or regular use. Up to 200 kg, without a second thought. And despite that, the hammock remains light. About 700 g in the bag, with a compact size.
You almost forget it… until the moment you really need it. The attachment system is already there, so no tinkering: You hook it up, adjust, and it’s ready.

Take only the minimum or add accessories

What’s also interesting is that it stays simple. No mosquito net, no tarp. At first, this might seem like a lack.
But in reality, it leaves freedom. To travel light, just take the hammock. If conditions change, you can add:

• a mosquito net when insects arrive
• a tarp if the rain shows up
• an underquilt or a sleeping bag if the temperature drops
• a sleeping bag for the cold
