Some people know the Mexican hammock well, and once you've tried it, it's hard to switch. Its bedding is cool (which is not necessarily ideal in our temperate climate but much appreciated in the height of summer) and stretchable. Its very tight 4-thread weave leaves few marks on the skin, especially in this huge size. The models we offer you here are all unique pieces.
Excellent hammock for outdoors because it dries quickly and loses very little of its color.
Each Mexican hammock is handwoven, making each one unique. The artisanal method and techniques passed down by the Mayas ensure that no hammock we sell is identical to another. We photograph them one by one. It is a tedious job but guarantees that you receive authentic Mexican hammocks. You can find our most beautiful Mexican hammocks on the page: Mexican luxury hammock
To recognize a genuine Mexican hammock, check the four-thread weave, the fine thread, and the weight. These elements guarantee the authenticity and comfort of the hammock. Very different from the canvas hammock, we explain the major differences here: Net hammock or canvas hammock? Which type of hammock to choose?
The 4-thread weave is a traditional Maya weaving technique. This type of weave is more complex to make than two- or three-thread weaves and is a sign of the quality of the Mexican hammock.
