This unique hammock in France combines traditional Brazilian craftsmanship with a creation by Alesko, an artist based in the Landes region. For several years, he has been designing new collections every three years that have met with great success. Thanks to him for bringing our ideas to life with such precision and talent, collection after collection.
The hammock is made from a cotton thread with a significant environmental impact. It is manufactured in Brazil from recycled ecological cotton "Ecotec". Its soft, muted colors remain vibrant in the sun and after washing. Its fabric (180 x 240 cm) makes it ideal for large European sizes like ours and for use by two people, offering an enveloping and relaxing sensation. To discover all the advantages of the fabric hammock, check out our blog: The fabric hammock, its strengths.
The Azteka stand is designed with 60 mm diameter metal tubes for optimal stability (our latest modification). It allows you to easily hang the hammock for two adults and maintains a soft lying surface thanks to its perfect hanging height. Compatible with all hammocks measuring up to 3.75 m in length (final length after use). This stand fits perfectly with most of our XXL hammocks as well as all of our double models.
At Tropical Hammock, we love durable and environmentally friendly products. In our temperate climate, there is no miracle: for the metal to remain elegant outdoors, a single coat of Hammerite paint (Castorama, Leroy Merlin) before rust appears will keep the stand impeccable for several years. In a perfect world, we would offer this stand in stainless steel… but since the price would be five times higher, everyone would leave the site faster than a hammock in the wind!
So, to extend the life of your stand, protect it from rain and repaint slightly oxidized areas with special metal paint at the first signs of rust. After 3 to 4 years, a complete repainting preserves its aesthetics and strength. To learn more about stand maintenance, check out our blog: Metal or wood hammock stand – Maintenance.
As for the hammock, it will easily last you 10 years (this is the average duration we observe with our customers in the store) by washing it once a year at 40° in the machine at the end of the season. The colors will remain intact. Store it folded and dry.
To fully enjoy your hammock, do not hesitate to explore our accessories section. You will find cushions, mosquito nets, fixings, and other elements to personalize and optimize your comfort. All our accessories are designed to perfectly match our hammocks and stands.
The cushion is truly the item to pair with it, trust us, you won’t regret it!
