Welcome to Tropical Hamac
Since 1988, Tropical Hamac has been sharing with you the unique craftsmanship of traditional Latin American hammocks. It all began when Franck Jouret, a surf and craft enthusiast, discovered this art of living during a trip to Tixtla, Mexico. Captivated by the comfort and well-being provided by a hammock, he decided to introduce it to France by working directly with local artisans from the great hammock-producing countries.

In 2025, a new chapter begins: after three decades of spreading the hammock culture in France, Franck passes the torch to Michael, a passionate successor who continues this beautiful story. Surrounded by a dedicated team in France and Nicaragua, Michael brings a fresh wave of modernity while preserving the soul and authenticity of Tropical Hamac.
